Rapid Prototyping Machines
SLA CAPABILITIES AT A FRACTION OF THE COST
How ZBuilder Technology Works:
The ZBuilder Ultra additively builds 3D parts using a high-resolution Digital Light Processor (DLP) projector to solidify a liquid photopolymer.
Step 1: A 3D CAD file (e.g. STL) is imported into Materialise Magics (included with equipment) to organize the build and generate support material geometry. The build file will be split into layers to create the geometry.

Step 2: The build file is then loaded into the machine. Settings are adjusted and the machine is ready to grow your parts.

Step 3: The ZBuilder Ultra additively builds 3D parts using a high-resolution Digital Light Processor (DLP) projector to solidify liquid photopolymer into robust, solid plastic. The build file is sliced into thin layers (50-100 microns), and each layer is imaged in the plastic resin by the light source. The process is repeated until the prototype is complete and ready to be removed.

Step 4: The part is removed from the build chamber, and excess resin is rinsed off the part. Support materials are then disconnected.

Step 5: Your part is ready to test! Check your design, validate the geometry and find mistakes and improvements to incorporate into the next revision. Remember: Fail Fast, Succeed Sooner!
